About HTML Athlete GUI
|
Welcome to HTML Athlete's Software Development Kit (SDK). It is conceived in web documents compression: HTML, JS and CSS, in particular - the most common technology triplet for builing a web content.
Why to compress web documents?
A good reason for this is to cut down their transmition time over the internet. Of course, if 90% of your data transmitted are pictures, then just forget about compressing your docs and focus on the main source of delay - pictures. Anyway, if that's what you've already done and want to yet more improve the time, use HTML Athlete OR:
Use this SDK and write your own compression application!
What does this SDK contain?
Here is a complete list of features involved.
- Quality long-term developped compression algorithms which are one of the most powerful worldwide!
- Straight-forward meaning SDK functions. To create an application best suiting your demands is therefore super easy!
- Ready-to-use dialogs for more convenient and quickier development of your applications.
- Well scalable behaviour for more sophisticated control over compression status in your applications.
- Detailed documentation for easier debugging.
- Demo "Getting Started" application for beginners.
What does NOT this SDK contain?
Here is the list of features one might expect the SDK contains, but would fail!
- Pictures compression. The picture compression is not in the focus of this SDK. You will have to employ third party software when needed (i.e. PhotoShop, etc.)
- Web documents decompression. If you need to recover your documents, you may be interested in HTML Athlete, which makes it possible. Involving the decompression into the SDK is in the "to-do" list.
Authorization
It's very straight-forward and without any fees! Yes, the SDK must be authorized when integrated into your application. Otherwise, everytime a compression process starts a tinny pop-up window appears. To authorize you do not need to pay any penny (but you can donate). And why is all that authorization circus present? It's due to these two reasons:
- maintaining a list of applications using HTML Athlete's compression routines (my personal concern),
- forceing current users to download always the newest version as soon as it appears.
How to authorize?
Just fill in the following form and send it. The data will be reviewed and authorization code sent in turn.
